A food plot is a planted area set aside as a supplementary food source for wildlife.
Food plots generally consist of legumes (clovers, alfalfa, beans, etc.) and grains.
Sanctuaries, borders and screens are becoming more popular among food plotters. They are starting to fall under the "Food Plot" category even though they are not cultivated as a "food source"
The first step is to identify how you wish to have the food plot done.
Are there trees that need to be removed? Do you wish to hire out the work? Do you want to install it yourself with professional guidance?
For all Food Plots, its best to follow these key steps.
